Design System for WSC SPORTS

The Challenge: A Fragmented Ecosystem

When I joined WSC Sports had 5 standalone products, each with separate development teams and no shared design system. This led to inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and design debt, slowing down development

The Solution: Building a Unified System

I took the initiative to map, design, and lead the WSC Sports Design System, transforming it from a side project into a company-wide priority:

  • Audited & Mapped repeated UI components, eliminating redundancies.

  • Led Implementation—coached designers, onboarded teams, and established best practices.

  • Collaborated with Devs to ensure seamless adoption, providing real-world examples.

  • Built a Scalable Library—designed 700+ components for a cohesive and efficient UX.

The Impact: A Unified, Scalable, and Efficient Product Ecosystem

Through my leadership, WSC Sports’ five disconnected products became a unified platform:

✅  Consistent UI & UX – A seamless experience across all products, reinforcing brand identity.
✅  Faster Design & Development – Reduced design inconsistencies and eliminated redundant work, allowing teams to build faster and

more efficiently.
✅  Better Cross-Team Communication – The Figma workshops and design system sessions improved collaboration across product,

design and R&D.
✅  Scalability for Future Growth – A flexible system that adapts as the product ecosystem evolves.

What started as a solo initiative has become the backbone of WSC Sports' product design. By leading its creation, adoption, and education, I streamlined workflows, strengthened cross-team collaboration, and laid the foundation for a scalable, long-term solution
